The longest running Mayor in the Gaspe, Kenneth Duguay,
and his pretty daughter Crystal welcomed me.

Crystal’s husband, Lewis Evans’ father was headmaster of BCS, my old school,
and HIS father taught me English through the 30s — and thus in a sense was
responsible for my writing so many books.

Edith Mackenzie the intrepid Treasurer of St Paul’s Church
getting ready to sell these books.

Deacon Patsy Hayes introduced me warmly

...after which I spoke to many old friends and sold 100 books to the likes
of Lois Hayes, the unofficial genealogist of Shigawake...

...and many others...

...with His Worship the Major replenishing supplies as necessary.
