After two busy weeks in Ottawa, Montréal, and
Québec City, what a joy to come home to Shigawake...
...and find the garden, which cousin Ted planted,
leaping into the spring air.
Every sort of vegetable imaginable has been planted,
and now that my lovely wife, Joan is here, herbs
will be sown and cared for.
And of course, Fran and Marie, our two goats,
did seem to be pleased to see me again.
