On trains, you can walk up and down the corridors between seats,
and see who else is with you. (Frowned on with air travel.)
On my train, a great Congolese band headed by the famous musician,
Toms Ntale, was travelling to Toronto for a concert.
What a nice gossip we had.
When I couldn’t get on the Internet (all the way it’s free,
unlike on a plane) our superb steward, Sebastien,
spent time working with me, hooking me up to the fine phone
Tech Crew, and bingo! All the way — emails.
Another added bonus to train travel –
you get to meet interesting people.
