The first official launch of The Gunner,
Book Six in the Alford Saga, now supposedly
available on all e-books and in every independent
bookstore, and Chapters-Indigo
(which has cut their intake of books 40%!)
David Appleyard has for some five years organized
this now well-known 40 Minute Forum at St Clements
Church Sundays at 10 am. So far he’s had over a
hundred speakers, all tops in their fields, making me
delighted to have been asked.
The Rev Jenny Andison introduced me.
And then I spoke to an audience of over
a hundred about the beginnings of Canadian
culture after WWII, and also of course,
the progress of The Alford Saga.
While the hall was being cleared, many hurried
to buy THE GUNNER.
